B♥ ~ Week Three

Dear B♥,

You are such an adorable, cute, fun baby. We LOVE having you so close so that we can hold you and love you and smell you. You and your Mommy will be leaving soon to go be with your Daddy, and we know we will miss you so much. However, your Daddy had to leave last week, and we know that HE misses you so much now, and that you all need to be together as soon as possible.

One of Nana's best friends crocheted the beautiful blanket, hat, and booties that you have on. You are loved by more people than you can imagine.

It's Another Girl -- yay!!!

Dear Wee One♥,

We know that you are going to be a beautiful girl, but we don't know what your name will be yet. If you were going to be a boy, your Daddy B♥ wanted to name you Seamus because he's Irish and wanted you to have an Irish name. Your Mommy M♥ said, "Sure, if he comes out with flaming red hair AND and Irish accent, THEN we'll name him Seamus!"

Well, now they are considering some beautiful Irish-sounding girl names, and I'm sure the one they choose will be perfect for you.

Dear B♥,

You have had a really busy first two weeks. Of course, you've slept through most of it, but your Mommy and Daddy are getting all their stuff ready to move far, far away.

You have lots of family that loves you so much. You have Grammy D♥, Grandpa J♥, and Nana & Grampa J♥. We know that you know who we all are, and you've got plenty of time to get to know us.

B♥ ~ One Week Old

Dear B♥,

We've learned a lot about you in your first week. First of all, it only took us seconds to know that you're beautiful and perfect. And those scary things the Dr.'s thought we should worry about before you were born? Nonsense. You had everything you were supposed to have, and it was all the way it should be. The only thing that gives you any trouble is your tiny, beautiful little mouth. It makes it a little tough for you to be able to eat properly, but your Momma is working hard (!) to make sure you get enough to eat.

You are a very sweet, happy baby. From your first day, you have laughed big old belly laughs, just out of the blue, sometimes even in your sleep. And you do sleep a LOT! You sleep for about 3 hours, wake up, eat, and go right back to sleep for another 3 hours. You don't cry very much, except when you're getting your diaper changed, but that's ok, nobody likes that.

You are loved by so many people, and I hope you will always know how much you are loved by all of us.

Dear B♥,

This was such a glorious week! You were born at about 8:15 a.m. on your Birth Day, and you weighed 6 lb. 15 oz., and you were 18 inches long. Daddy & Auntie M♥ were in the delivery room with your Mommy, while your all of your grandmas & grampas waited outside the nursery. We just couldn't wait to meet you! We'd all been waiting for this day for so long. You had LOTS of family and friends come to see you and congratulate your Mommy and Daddy for being so blessed with such a precious sweet baby, YOU!

You were in the hospital for 4 days so that you and your Mommy could get ready to come home to Nana and Grampa's house. Your Daddy is in the Army and lives far away, and we are so happy that he was able to be here when you were born and be with you for your first 10 days. Soon you and Mommy will be able to travel to where he is so that your little family can all be together.

We are all so glad to have you here. You are our sweet little miracle angel, B♥, and we all love you SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!
