Dear Mac♥,

Yay! Now that your mommy is home and has her own camera, we will be getting much better pictures of you. YAY! You are such a beautiful, sweet little baby. You seem so content, you don't cry very often or very long, but you do have a little voice that you are not afraid to use when you want to, and you can even turn the volume up a little. I just say you're singing.

Mac♥ ~ More of Day 3

Mac♥ & Grampa "heart-melding"


Dear Mac♥,

You arrived at your home when you were about 40 hours old. By the time you were 24 1/2 hours old, you had already lived in three different days. We dropped by to see you this evening, and Grampa got to hold you for the first time. He was already in love with you, of course, but being able to hold you, with your hearts so close to each other, they somehow make a closer connection than before. I know, because I got to hold you for the first time yesterday, and that is exactly what happened to me. You are a very special girl and part of a very special family, Mommy M♥, Daddy B♥, and you . . . and then there are the rest of us that make things a little, well, interesting.

Here you are sleeping through your carseat test, to make sure everything fits right. You are just about to leave the hospital to go home with your mommy and daddy. You are going to have so much fun together! We will see you soon.

Dear Mac♥,

Here you are when you are about 16 hours old. Your mommy and daddy have decided that you look more like your dad but you have a nose like your mom, and your hands are like your mommy's. You are so beautiful and small, perfect and healthy, and we are SO happy to get to know you.

Dear Mac♥,

This was a long day for you and your mommy and your daddy. It all started at 5:00 a.m. when you gave them an early morning wake-up call, and then you kept them busy working hard to get you here perfect, healthy and safe at 11:35 p.m. You weigh 5 lbs. 11 oz., are 19 1/4 inches long and have lots of short black hair. You were almost a month early and we feel very thankful and blessed that you and your mommy are so healthy and happy.

We love you and your mommy and daddy SOOO much!

Dear K♥,

You are so adorable ! ! ! Grampa and I LOVE having you entertain us every day. You love to snuggle, steal my slippers, play ferocious, go for walks, and sleep. You love squeaky toys, you try to kill motorized rodent toys, and you sleep. Did I mention that you love to SLEEP! I do believe that is what you do best.
