C♥ & B♥'s "Virtual" Baby Shower

My Mom graciously organized a "virtual" baby shower for C♥ & B♥. She contacted all my siblings across the country and told them that if we all lived close to each other, we would have had a real shower, so instead, let's go in on some group gifts together. My brothers and sisters were very generous, and this is what they were able to get:

A great stroller that is very sturdy and about 8 lbs. lighter than most comparable strollers . . .

And this beautiful crib, also very sturdy and beautiful.


Grampa & I were able to add the matching swing.


When C♥ first told me she wanted her colors to be black, white and red, I was a little worried, but it turns out that she got the most beautiful stuff, IMHO, that was available at the time. We also lucked out, because by the time we actually purchased everything, this style had been discontinued and we bought the last items available in any of the stores in our extended area.

We have also been very blessed by Grampa's side of the family -- his mother contributed to the "virtual" baby shower, and C♥ has received many other beautiful gifts from her aunts & cousins.
